The Harihareshwara Temple: It is at a distance of 15 kilometers from Davangere. This temple is astounding for its wealth of sculptural details. The syncretic deity known as " Harihara " is an attempt to combine the worship of Shiva ("hara") and Vishnu ("hari"), the two polar Hindu deities, into a single object It is located at the edge of the picturesque Bhadra River, near Lakkavalli is the Bhadra Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, at a distance of 110 kms from Davangere. The Bhadra Wilderness Retreat is the ideal spot to get acquainted with nature in its serene beauty. There are so many things that could be done here trekking, safari, water sports, swimming, bird-watching and having general fun. Chitradurga Fort: Jog Falls: The world fomous jog falls is at a distance of 155 Kms from here. River Sharavathi splits up into four different tracks which are named in accordance with their perceived trajectories. Associated with the waterfall is the nearby Linganmakki Dam and the hydro-electric power station that it serves. The power station has been operational since 1949, and is one of the largest hydro-electric station in India. Honnemaradu, an island formed with the backwater of Linganmakki dam is famous for water sports. Hampi:
